THERA PRAX®
Standardized and safe Neurofeedback and Biofeedback training
The THERA PRAX® is a member of our successful family of products for direct current EEG neuro- and biofeedback. It combines the convenience of a complete, ready-to-use system and the safety of a CE-certified medical device.
The 13-channel THERA PRAX® system allows neurofeedback of slow cortical potentials (SCP-Feedback), frequency feedback (alpha, theta, beta, delta and SMR) with frequency ratios as well as audio-visual feedback. There are a large number of sensors available for a wide variety of feedback training types. For example, it is possible to measure and provide feedback on pulse, temperature, heart rate, EMG, ECG, oxygen saturation and galvanic skin response.
Besides a large number of software modules such as cognitive evoked potentials for follow-up (CPT-OX, ERN, CNV, P300, readiness potential etc.), the system can provide unique, automatic correction for eye movements and movement artifacts.
The efficient and specific treatment of SCP-Feedback and Neurofeedback using THERA PRAX® include:
- increasing attention, reducing impulsivity and hyperactivity (ADHD)
- containing or even suppressing seizures (epilepsy)
- improving motor function following a stroke
- reducing disposition to migraine and the frequency of attacks
